Malaysia Peanut Pancake for Toddlers (12+ Months)
Ingredients:
For Pancakes:
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Cooking oil or butter
For Filling:
- Softened unsalted butter
- Ground peanuts
Instructions:
- Whisk egg, vanilla extract and milk in a bowl.
- Mix flour and baking powder in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to make a smooth batter.
- Heat oil or butter in a skillet. Pour the batter into a non-stick pan over medium-low heat and spread it slightly to the edge of the pan to make it crispy.
- When the batter has formed bubbles and is cooked, tt’s ready to spread butter and sprinkle ground peanuts on top of the pancake.
- Wait until the pancake is fried until golden brown, then fold it in half.
- Let it cool slightly before serving these pancake foldovers to your toddler.
